SOURCE MAD (no not the condiment!)

In history this week, we have been looking at historical sources, we quickly identified that source was a homophone and we were not discussing condiments but historical sources.

We defined a source as something that can give us information about the time period we are studying – our time period is the Ancient Greeks. We then looked at how we could decipher sources and what we could learn from them, before the children were given their very own sources to decode. We had a range of artefacts including Greek coins, Greek tiles and miniature statues. Take a look below at the children learning from their sources.

The children then presented their findings to the rest of the class and we tried to gather a picture of Greek life.
