We have had an amazing week of learning in 5W this week. In history, we learnt about the Montgomery Bus Boycott and the heroism of the Civil Rights Movement in the United States of America in the 1950s and 1960s. The children were asked to perform a key part of the bus boycott and explain the importance of this event within the Civil Rights Movement. Take a look at our photos below.
In art, we started a cosmic art project. The children were asked to practise their pastel techniques and use cotton buds and wet wipes to create the look of craters and tectonic plates on our moons. Take a look at our practise session below:
Skipping ropes in 5W, this week in 5W it was our week with the skipping ropes. The children adored playing with these and got really creative with their skipping skills. Take a look below!
